Comments not tied to particular UKAR statements are unhelpful.
UKAR deletes unread all email that comes with attachments, and may
block receipt of further email from the same sender.
If your email to UKAR has the appearance of spam, it may be blocked by
automatic filters which are necessary to limit the daily
avalanche. For example, an email containing the word "viagra"
will never reach UKAR because it will be automatically blocked whether
it's selling viagra or not.
Please understand that scarcity of resources limits UKAR ability to
reply. Also, UKAR seeming failure to reply to any email may
sometimes result from the UKAR email response being blocked by third
parties on its way to the intended recipient, without that recipient
being aware that his email service provider is arresting some of his
email. Similarly, sometimes UKAR placing someone on the UKAR
subscribe list leads to the discovery that UKAR announcements are
blocked to that intended recipient, with no way to inform him of the
reason he receives no announcements.
Users of the French Google at www.google.fr
should be aware that it will never point to any document on the UKAR
web site, no matter what string is searched for. (The same
censorship used to be exercised by the Lycos search engine,
which however was removed some time ago.) French residents
are probably able to bypass their creeping totalitarianism by using the
Canadian (www.google.ca)
