Bill Lockyer:
I bring to your attention activity of the Los Angeles Superior Court in the pending Rambam vs Prytulak Case BC271433, before Judge James R. Dunn, that tends to bring the administration of justice in California into disrepute, that may be illegal, and that calls for investigation. This Court activity falls into three categories:
The suppression or destruction of litigation documents which threatens to leave Defendant Prytulak with a trial record too Court-expurgated to launch an appeal. Documentation can be found in the enclosed copies of three Prytulak letters:
of 09-Sep-2002 to Executive Officer/Clerk John A. Clarke titled What happened to my Motion to Quash?
of 20-Sep-2002 to Executive Officer/Clerk John A. Clarke titled Court door slammed in my face, and
of 27-Sep-2002 to Presiding Judge James A. Bascue titled Might this be obstruction of justice?
Defendant Prytulak's being denied access to a Judge Barry A. Taylor Order to Show Cause, as documented in the Prytulak letter of 30-Sep-2002 to Deputy Clerk Steven Winston titled The saga of the 57-cent photocopy.
The Los Angeles Superior Court overcharging for filing fees, possibly systematically. Documentation can be found in the enclosed copy of the Prytulak letter of 07-Oct-2002 to Presiding Judge James A. Bascue, titled Chaos or Over-Billing in Los Angeles Superior Court Fees?
Additional documentation of Rambam vs Prytulak Case BC271433, from which the above correspondence flows, is available online at
