Defendant Prytulak's motion to quash was delivered to the Los Angeles Superior Court on 30-Aug-2002. The motion was accompanied by payment of filing fee, by proof of service on plaintiff, and incorporated an argument for extension of time. Today, 21 days later, Judge James R. Dunn appears to have neither granted that motion nor denied it. Indeed, the motion has not even appeared as filed in the Case Summary on the LASC web site. Nor has the Court provided Defendant feedback as to any defects that might need to be removed to render the motion fileable. And neither has the Court returned the filing fee. Defendant, in other words, has had the Court door slammed in his face, and has been left sitting in the dark and without recourse.

If filing of the motion has been blocked, then Defendant Prytulak's minimal request is that he be told the name of the individual who takes responsibility for this blocking, and as well under what authority that blocking has been carried out.

On its web site, the Los Angeles Superior Court enunciates that it is dedicated to upholding certain values, among which are:

Accessibility � Equally serve all people and consistently work to identify and remove barriers to access.

Responsiveness and Responsibility � Address the public's needs in an efficient, effective, courteous way, using innovative methods and maintaining accountability.

However, Defendant's experience with the Los Angeles Superior Court so far has been that the Court is the opposite of what it represents itself as striving to be � that is, Defendant has found the Court to be inaccessible, discriminatory, unresponsive, irresponsible, and unaccountable. The only competence and enthusiasm that the Court has shown is for blinding itself to the recognition that it has exceeded its jurisdiction and that all of its actions are nullities.
