ZONE #2. LETEA.
The Romanian Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve (DDBR) Strictly Protected Zone #2 Letea can be seen to be separated from the several-kilomoter-distant Kilia by the Romanian town of Periprava to the north, and by relatively uninhabited land to the north-east. The red K/S has been added to mark the spot opposite the entrance to the Ochakivske where, for purposes of the instant discussion, the Kilia is considered to end and the Starostambulske to begin. The nearest distance between Letea Forests and the Starostambulske increases to 8 km by the time the Starostambulske reaches the Bystre. Labels in boxes, and direction of flow arrows, have been added.
