Strictly Protected Zones in both Ukraine and Romania are distinguished by the darkest shading.  Yellow has been added to the Ukrainian Delta Reserve that is not strictly protected.  It must be cautioned that estimating the proportion of its Danube Delta that Ukraine gave over to Strict Protection will lead to exaggeration if it is forgotten that the Ukrainian Strict-Protection zone extends into the Black Sea.  Also, the Ukrainian strictly-protected area shown here does not correspond to the three smaller Ukrainian strictly-protected areas shown in other maps--the failure of most Internet maps to include dates offering an obstacle to their interpretation.  This map is possibly an older map showing the state of affairs prior to their revision.
