Re: Los Angeles Superior Court, Rambam v Prytulak, BC271433
California Court of Appeal, Rambam v Prytulak, B166388
James R. Dunn:
Thirty-four days after your 20-Mar-2003 judgment in Rambam v Prytulak BC271433, I (the defendant in that action) still have been unable to obtain a copy, this despite my requests in letters to you dated 28-Mar-2003, 11-Apr-2003, and 16-Apr-2003, and despite a further request in a letter to Presiding Judge Robert A. Dukes dated 21-Apr-2003 and delivered by FedEx 22-Apr-2003 at a cost of CAN$29.12. Neither have I been informed, as by telephone or email, that my request is being processed, or when delivery might be expected. And neither have I been able to learn of any justification that the Los Angeles Superior Court could have for denying me a copy of this judgment, or of any defect in my requests which if corrected would bring results.
Currently outstanding in my request for documents from the Los Angeles Superior Court are the following four, with your judgment occupying first position and emphasized in bold because of its urgency my deadline for submitting a copy of this judgment to the Court of Appeal is 28-Apr-2003, and it appears that despite my best efforts this deadline will not be met:
A copy of the 20-Mar-2003 judgment in Rambam v Prytulak
A copy of the book of exhibits marked 1 through 13 which supported Steven Rambam's testimony of 03-Oct-2002
A copy of the motion and minute order for 19-Mar-2003 (which mysterious motion was "granted")
A copy of the motion and minute order for 25-Mar-2003 (which mysterious post-judgment motion was "continued" to an unspecified date)
I protest the severe disadvantage under which your denying me a copy of your judgment places me. I protest Steven Rambam being allowed to pursue judgment enforcement and injunctive relief which might otherwise be blocked upon the perfection of my appeal. I protest Steven Rambam filing motions with which I have not been served, and the Court hearing them on dates that have not been announced, and with my information being limited to the "granted" or "continued" that I discover in the online Case Summary. I protest the Los Angeles Superior Court still not having divested itself of the prejudice that it has displayed toward me throughout the Rambam v Prytulak proceedings.
