- The concentration camp "Bereza Kartuzka", in which thousands of Ukrainian patriots struggling against Polish oppression were incarcerated, highlights the senseless Polish-Ukrainian civil war raging in Western Ukraine between WWI and Operation Vistula in 1947 after WWII.
- Nolan Peterson, a U.S. journalist embedded in the Ukrainian ATO forces, describes the courageous efforts of Ukrainian soldier "Nemo" to recover from severe injuries.
- In his second article, he gives a realistic picture of the situation in Pisky, which seems to be a particular focal point for Russian aggression against Ukrainian forces.

- The West has begun to realise that Russian disinformation poses a serious threat to the United States and its European allies. A 71-page pdf file details the information warfare in Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. It analyses "Sputnik International" and provides recommendations.

- The NATO summit in Warsaw on 07/09Jul2016 provided words of comfort for Ukraine and other Eastern European threatened by Russian aggression, but little material support. Ms. Bashuk Hepburn suggests that Canada prolong its training exercises in Ukraine into 2017 and chides Foreign Affairs Minister Stephane Dion for being too "Russia friendly".
