- Taras Kuzio points out that the murderous policies of Josef Stalin with respect to Ukraine starting with the famine-genocide of 1932/33 are being resurrected by Vladimir Putin today.
- In Canada, the 50th anniversary of the Holodomor in 1982/83 catalyzed two films on the Holodomor -- the original 1983 Radio-Quebec TV documentary (28:15) titled "The Unknown Holocaust" spearheaded by Taras Hukalo, followed by Harvest of Despair (55:02) spearheaded by Slavko Nowytski and Yurij Luhovy. Twenty eight years later in 2011, Yurij Luhovy revisited the Holodomor with his award-winning documentary Genocide Revealed.
- It is amazing that, even after 33 years of research, the viewpoints by the experts interviewed by Taras Hukalo (Roman Serbyn, Malcolm Muggeridge, Nina Strokata (1926.01.31 -- 1998.08.02), Leonid Husin (survivor), Bohdan Krawchenko, James Mace (1952.02.18 -- 2004.05.03), Bohdan Bociurkiw, Lev Kopolev, Marco Carynnyk, A. Babyonyshev) are as valid today as they were then.
