- Diane Francis's interview with Leonid Kravchuk reveals the tremendous pressure exerted on Ukraine by the West to give up its nuclear weapons and Ukraine's rationale to do so. Also archived are two more articles by Ms. Francis, which are very positive towards Ukraine.
- Paul Goble analyses the Russian-language essay of Irina Pavlova, who laments that “Few Western specialists on Russia are prepared to acknowledge that perestroika was a KGB-planned operation directed at seizing power with the goal of privatizing state property”. These "specialists" refuse to recognize that the Kremlin is reproducing “the Stalinist mechanism of power”.
- Crawford and Bensmann of CORRECT!V  have compiled 6 articles that trace Putin's career from 1985 as a KGB agent in Dresden, his rise to power with the help of corruption and bribery of Western politicians and corporations (Hewlett-Packard) and finally to the creation of a criminal-Mafia state maintained by Stalinist methods.
- Joe Gould reports that "Russia maintains an ability to destroy command-and-control networks by jamming radio communications, radars and GPS signals" -- which Ukraine (and the US military) must overcome.
