The two noteworthy news items were that German prosecutors opened an investigation into prosecution witness Larry Stewart for perjury. Secondly, the OSI prosecutor in the original 1981 denaturalization trial, Norman Moscowitz, testified for the prosecution:

[The ruling of Judge Gilbert Merritt that the OSI engaged in "prosecutorial misconduct constituting fraud on the court" is based on the "Report on the John Demjanjuk Case" by Judge Thomas Wiseman presented June 30, 1993 to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  A "Critique of Wiseman's Report", outlining this prosecutorial misconduct and Norman Moscowitz's participation, is archived at

Among other things, it is clear that Norman Moscowitz suborned perjury in the testimony of Otto Horn.]

Larry Stewart testified, both in the 2001 Denaturalization Trial and recently in the Munich Trial, that he could get a “perfect fit” of the circular stamp on the bottom-left of the Demjanjuk photograph by shifting it vertically, horizontally and rotating it counterclockwise. However, there is a second circular stamp on the upper-right of the photograph. In his latest additition, Lubomyr Prytulak demonstrates that this rotation causes a very large misalignment in this second circular stamp. He accuses Mr. Stewart of deliberately misleading the court.
