Meet the Cossack ‘Wolves’ Doing Russia’s Dirty Work in Ukraine  Time, 12May2014; Simon Shuster

- The article by Simon Shuster indicates that the triumvirate -- Russian imperialism, Kuban Cossack subservience to the "vozhd", Russian Orthodox Church -- is the driving force behind the present turmoil in Ukraine. This meshes perfectly with Vladimir Putin's "Novorossia" doctrine for the dismemberment of Ukraine. His genocidal policies are obviously directed to the destruction of the Ukrainian people, the Ukrainian language and the Ukrainian state. It is ironic that the Kuban Cossacks in the "Wolves' Hundred" are likely descendants of the original Zaporizhian Cossacks, who fought against the Russian Tsars and who were eventually banished from their native Ukraine to the Kuban region. Now, they have turned traitor to their heritage and joined the Russian genocide against their forebears for their "30 pieces of silver". Perhaps, the passage in the Ukrainian national anthem that proudly proclaims that Ukrainians are "z kozatskoho rodu" (from Cossack heritage) should be re-interpreted in a negative manner. For centuries, Russian brotherly love, Cossack treachery and the Orthodox Church have proved fatal for Ukrainians.

Since this original article by Mr. Shuster, I came across a very disturbing article/video  by Serhiy Halchenko indicating the very close connection between the separatist/terrorists and the Russian Orthodox Church (via the UOC-MP) in fomenting insurrection within Ukraine. It appears that FSB-agent Igor Girkin, Metropolitan Illarion, Patriarch Kirill, etc. are all in cahoots to destroy Ukraine.

- Slavoj Zizek demonstrates how Russian imperialism as utilized by Stalin dominated the politics of the Soviet Union and, since its demise, how Vladimir Putin has continued promoting Russian imperialism.

Metropolit Illarion especially has had close ties with Viktor Yanukovych and Patriatrch Kirill (Gundaev).
