- In three news releases dated 05, 11 and 23Apr2013 and in three 20-minute videos, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress has outlined its deep concerns about the lack of appropriate coverage of the Holodomor and WW1 Internment in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. An Asper letter dated 11Apr2003 from Moe Levy of the Asper Foundation addressed to Paul Grod and Andrew Hladyshevsky reveals that, despite early promises, the Asper Foundation and CMHR personnel have been acting in bad faith. Canadians are asked to contact CMHR personnel, their Members of Parliament, Heritage Minister James Moore and Prime Minister Stephen Harper to register their complaints and ensure that Ukrainian issues are appropriately treated in the CMHR. A petition in this regard is being circulated (in html or Word 97 format).

- The Winnipeg Free Press continues reporting on the issue and blackrod once again lambastes Gail Asper for her deceit.

8pm News after Ulrich Busch called and wrote a letter to the the first TV program Germany-News."

- These three 20-minute video excerpts from two Townhall Meetings with the Ukrainian community held in Winnipeg on 10Feb2013 and 07Apr2013 are incorporated in the three media releases by UCC referred to in Section (1) above. They provide an excellent insight into the CMHR controversy and the deceit perpetrated by the Asper Foundation and CMHR personnel.

Islands of Death by Semen Pidhainy, Burns & MacEachern (1953) -- An introduction written by Roman Korol to the Solovetsky Islands in the White Sea used by the Russian Tsars for centuries and the Russian Bolsheviks in the 20th century as a perpetual penal colony for its political dissidents.
Table of Contents:  A clickable version allowing access to various sections of the book in pdf format.

- Although written in 1953, this book provides an excellent insight into the mindset of the Muscovite totalitarian mind. Very educational and depressing. One wonders if the mentality of that era is not resurfacing in Ukraine (and the Russian Federation) today.
