"Ukrainian Jewish Encounter Project"
Presented to the XXIII Triennial Congress, 8:00 - 8:35 AM, Sat., 06Nov2010 by keynote speaker
James Temerty (Chairman of Northland Power) as described in a 10 cm x 24 cm, 6 x 2 page colorful brochure:

The Ukrainian Jewish Encounter (UJE) is a privately organized, multinational initiative launched in 2008 as a collaborative project involving Ukrainians of Jewish and Christian heritages and others, in Ukraine and Israel as well as in the diasporas. Its work engages scholars, civic leaders, artists, governments and the broader public in an effort to promote stronger and deeper relations between the two peoples.

[You will note that Temerty's Advisory Board includes charter members of the Holocaust Industry -- Rabbi Bleich, Irwin Cotler, Abe Foxman, Alti Rodal, etc. How did decent people like Raynell Andreychuk and John Turner get roped into this crowd?

Internet searches reveal interesting information:
- Adrian Karatnycky supports Victor Yanukovych and is in the pay of the Party of Regions.

- Rabbi Bleich defamed Ukrainians in the 23Oct1994 documentary "The ugly face of freedom"

- Irwin Cotler was instrumental in initiating the Deschenes Commission, screamed that he would pursue John Demjanjuk to the ends of the earth when the Israeli courts finally released him in September 1993, openly admitted that he supports the d&d process to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive. A collection of his writings can be found in the Cotler Files at

- Alti Rodal wrote a 560-page + appendices report for Jules Deschenes in September 1986. [Would Mr. Temerty like a copy of the report?]

Are these the best people that James Temerty could find to advise him for his UJE project? Why did he not include Yurij Scherbak, who is only a stone's throw from his office in Kyiv?

Mr. Temerty claims that the UJE has already made progress concerning Khmelnitsky and Simon Petlura. I will believe him, when Netanyahu gets up in the Knesset and proclaims that Petlura was one of the best friends that the Jews ever had, rather than currying favour with Russia to delegitimize Ukraine's independence. Why did over 90% of the people in Israel empowered to vote in Ukraine's presidential elections support Yanukovych?

Was it just a coincidence that the UJE project was initiated in 2008, just before John Demjanjuk's extradition to Germany in May 2009? And before Victor Yanukovych came to power in February 2010?

UCC is initiating a campaign to raise funds -- asking people to pledge annual donations for five years. James Temerty pledged $50,000.00 annually, several $20,000.00, Paul Grod $10,000.00, following the announcement several people pledged $1,000.00 annually. Mr. Temerty is also chairman of the UCC Advisory Committee.

I really wish James Temerty full success for his pet project, although my suspicious paranoid self has doubts. If history is a guide, the Holocaust Industry will play Mr. Temerity along for a while until he is no longer useful and then dump him. In the meantime, Ukrainians will be expected to support Israel and refrain from criticising Israeli genocidal policies past, present and future. Will Ukrainians become complicit in supporting war crimes?

And in Ukraine, will UCC dare criticize Pinchuk, Kolomoisky, Poroshenko, etc.? Is this a ploy to paralyze the Ukrainian community? Will Ukrainian Canadians be expected to support the oligarchs?

Perhaps some more research and discussion of the UJE project would be in order.
