End the warfare state
In his warning to fellow Americans regarding the parasitic nature
of the war-mongering military-industrial complex, General
Dwight Eisenhower once famously stated: “Every gun that is made, every
warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a
theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not
clothed.” As wars across the planet increase in lockstep with economic
hardships on the home front, awareness of that hard truth will come to
be more and more appreciated, and soon. Hopefully, he will prove to be
a spur to collective action by the masses in Western nations, marching
resolutely, but peacefully to the barricades, determined to end the
warfare state.
