The story of the newspaper carrier who clipped portions of the front
page from the Woodstock Sentinel-Review to spare dozens of clients from
seeing the presumably offensive word "hellish" in print recalls the
playful lyrics from the signature song, A Wanderin' Star, in the
musical Paint Your Wagon: "Do I know where Hell is? / Hell is in Hello."
Whoever the censorious soul is, he or she should also consider another
mode of greeting other than "Hello!"
