The blame game
Re: “Forget blame game,” Michael Coren, Sun, Jan. 15, 2011.
Eric Fuller, who was struck by a bullet in the gunfire in Tucson that
killed or injured 20, insists conservative figureheads such
as Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and Sharron Angle were to blame
for the violence. Fuller, a onetime campaign worker for the most
prominent shooting victim, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, has, like
Giffords’s father, also politicized the tragedy. As the 150th
anniversary of the outbreak of the American Civil War draws
near, the U.S. is once again becoming a dangerously polarized
nation. Even as its once mighty economic engine is sputtering.
