Re: "Ex-tycoon's sentence an abuse of justice: U.S.," Dec. 31, 2010.

Given the controversial outcome of the trial of onetime Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky, a senior official within the Obama administration is quoted as saying the guilty verdict may imperil Russia's chances of gaining admission as a member to the World Trade Organization, claiming the WTO is "a rules-based, rule of law organization."

Who's he kidding?

The WTO has more than 150 member nations, many of whom are corrupt to the core, including Myanmar, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's Russia would fit right in.
