The Herald's time-warped editorial, which put defenceman Dion Phaneuf
back into a Calgary Flames uniform, brings to mind a large poster I
noted on a pillar at the Sunridge Mall last February. It featured
Phaneuf in a Flames jersey, appealing to the team's Calgary fans to
remain loyal and devoted to their NHL home team. But by then Phaneuf
had been traded and was playing defence for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
