Anyone familiar with the film Network will know TV news anchor Howard Beale first stokes populist rage, but then turns into a corporate shill.

Since 2000, when he sold his ad agency for $265 million Deutsch has been laughing all the way to the bank.

Now he’s got a TV gig channelling Marie “Let them eat cake” Antoinette.

For a multimillionaire to admonish viewers to stop being critics of President Obama or Goldman “Greed is good” Sachs or America’s, trillion-dollar deficits and practise anger management instead is a bit rich.
