Conservative party crashers
Helena Guergis and Rahim Jaffer are Canada’s answer to the American
couple Michaele and Tareq Salahi. The Salahis are famous for crashing a
Whitehouse party. Guergis and Jaffer were also gaining fame as party
crashers. But with the Canadian couple, it’s the Conservative party’s
fortunes they were derailing with their reckless behaviour, before they
both got bounced. Jaffer by disaffected voters in his Edmonton riding,
Guergis by an alarmed prime minister.
