Double-O standard dooms Russian
dad
Re: "Double-O standard dooms Russian dad," Lyn Cockburn, June 10, 2009.
When President George W. Bush first met the Russian president, Vladimir
Putin, in 2001 he says he looked into his eyes and got a "sense of his
soul". That done, the U.S. president was able to give the onetime KGB
station chief for East Germany a clean bill of moral and political
health. Is there, I wonder, a way to arrive at such metaphysical
certainty in Mikhail Lennikov's case?
