Subject: One question

Mr Ramsey, Sir:

Two weeks ago I e-mailed you (see copy below) asking you for answers to basic questions re the Nazi-hunting record of U.S. investigator Steven Rambam. Since you didn't answer the questions I posed, I concluded that you were unable to and that, in fact, were guilty of misleading readers of the Vancouver Province. You would not be the first journalist to mislead his readers, of course. I just wish to add that I believe you are ignorant rather than deceitful regarding Mr Rambam's record.

Copied below is a URL for a Washington Post story describing the circumstances of Mr Rambam's recent arrest by the FBI.

Thanks for nothing, as they say. -OS

Mr Ramsey,

Re: 'BC Judge's partner...' (Vancouver Province 09Jul2006).

In today's article in The Province on the BC Supreme Court judge, Justice Koenigsberg, and her partner Mr Prytulak, you reported American Steven Rambam 'unearthed Nazi war criminals' while working as an investigator.

My question for you is, Had Mr Rambam actually 'unearthed Nazi war criminals' or had he simply claimed this. Could you identify at least two individuals that Mr Rambam exposed as 'Nazi war criminals' that were subsequently prosecuted and found guilty of war crimes in their role as criminal enforcers of Nazi rule and afterwards either imprisoned or deported for such?

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Sincerely,

Orest Slepokura
