Recently, The Record reported further legal moves against Helmut Oberlander, as well as against a 91-year-old St. Catharines resident who is accused of having lied to enter Canada many years ago. Also published was a story that every Canadian is in debt to the government -- to the tune of about $17,000.
Perhaps those who are continuing these endless legal manoeuvres could use some small measure of justice, savings and compassion and, in the end, benefit all of us overburdened taxpayers.
To persecute a 91-year-old man, who is not fully medically competent, as well as Oberlander, is incomprehensible.
