Re: "Ukrainian guard wasn't a Nazi" (April 5, 2001, Toronto Sun)

I applaud the Sun and Peter Worthington for diligently investigating the facts behind the phony persecution of Wasyl Odynsky. Objective journalism has always been Worthington's hallmark. Odynsky was the victim of the brutal Nazi machine whose only fortune was to avoid Stalin's murderous tyranny after the war. Now he and his family have been forced into financial ruin by a government willing to spend millions of tax dollars in faux prosecutions knowing that any defendent in such proceedings will not receive legal or financial support. Instead under Canadian laws those fingered must find their own resources to prove their innocence. Could the average Canadian endure this?
