I am disgusted with the federal cabinet decision to strip Helmet Oberlander of Waterloo of his Canadian citizenship. There is no real proof of him lying when he immigrated to Canada. This man has lived a good Christian life since he has been in Canada. Does this not count for anything?

I am also disappointed that the Canadian Jewish Congress seems to want revenge for all the Jewish people who were killed during the war. I have talked to German people who were afraid for their lives also during the war. We, as Canadians, have no idea what the Jewish and German people went through.

What I want to know is, can only God forgive?

The federal cabinet and Immigration Minister Elinor Caplan may not have to make any more decisions after the next election.
