This is to inform you that you have our 100% unqualified support for statements attributed to you concerning the construction by the Israeli authorities of a "defence" wall in the occupied territories. The construction of this edifice is in blatant disregard for international law, is nothing more than a means to accomplish an illegal and immoral land-grab, and is intended to accommodate the Israeli government's imperialistic aspirations. No amount of rationalization can possibly ignore these factors.

You are to be roundly commended for having the courage to state what most Canadians are too intimidated from expressing: the erection of this wall is barbaric, inhuman and unacceptable. In short, it is nothing less than a war crime and a crime against humanity.

Please do NOT back down in the face of criticism from Jewish or any other organizations -- you have told the truth.
