Dear Mr. Goldring:

On behalf of our membership, please accept our congratulations and our expression of thanks for the initiative you have taken recently on the issue of the misuse by the federal government of the denaturalization and deportation process. Your bold position was evident in both your "Informer" pamphlet (issue #97R - Aug. 2002) entitled "Wasyl Odynsky - 50 years of upstanding citizenship erased 'on balance'", as well as in the very welcome article in the Sept. 2nd, 2002 issue of REPORT magazine, p. 26, entitled "If you really value freedom and justice, now would be a good time to prove it."

This totally justifiable stand, taken on the side of true and meaningful justice on your part and done in keeping with Alliance basic principles, has not gone unnoticed in the Ukrainian Canadian community. It will be on many people's minds come election time. I will personally make sure of that.

Once again, accept our warmest regards to you and family.

Yours truly,

Eugene Harasymiw, LL.B.
