According to recent news releases, your name has been added to the chorus of "heavies" pushing for the early release of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard. This is the selfsame Pollard who inflicted untold harm on the United States security system, and has now become an Israeli citizen -- not that this latter development should surprise anyone.

By supporting this convicted felon, you certainly shed more light on your own twisted notion of civil liberties. I suggest you turn your civil libertarian interests to pursuing a truly Canadian issue -- for instance, to denouncing your government's current denaturalization and deportation policy. This policy has removed due process from its victims and their families, has advanced a despicable political agenda, and has inflicted a permanent stain on our justice system; all the while, "civil libertarians" like yourself stand by, totally mute.

I have a better suggestion. Why don't you just take out Israeli citizenship -- that way Canadians will realize where your real interests lie.
