Subject: Your government's denaturalization & deportation policy

Dear Ministers of the Crown:
Re: Your Government’s Denaturalization & Deportation Policy
On February 9, 1999 our organization E-mailed all but one Cabinet Minister concerning the above noted policy in general, and the case of Vladimir Katriuk of Montreal in particular.
As everyone knows, the final and only decision as to whether a judge’s recommendation of revocation of citizenship and deportation should follow in these measures being inflicted against an “accused” is entirely in your hands.
If common sense has not otherwise finally overtaken you, read the article entitled “For Crimes Not Committed” by Kirk Makin in the Toronto Globe & Mail (Feb. 20, 1999) to illustrate how corrupt and indefensible your government’s denaturalization and deportation policy has proven to be.
Taking into account that only one Minister has responded to my E-mail, our group concludes Cabinet has neither the common decency nor the nerve to bring itself to provide our 1,000 strong organization with an honest response. We have taken note of your tell-tale and shameful silence.
Yours truly,
Eugene Harasymiw, LL.B.
President
