Dear Mr. Margolis:

Once again, on behalf of our organizations' members, please accept our warmest gratitude for writing the above-noted article, which appeared in the local Edmonton Sun paper on December 13, 1998. [I had inadvertently misplaced your E-mail address, until today, so apologize for the delayed reaction.]

In short, it is our estimation that this article is the most significant comment to appear in a Canadian newspaper in recorded memory. This is not an overstatement by any means. It takes "guts" to say what you said, the way you expressed your ideas. Why? Because there is a certain "correctness" that permeates the mainstream media in this day and age, and to stand up to that ingrained yet misinformed standard line takes a very special type of person. That's you, sir.

Once again, congratulations on a ground-breaking article that dares to shake the conventional wisdom of the politically correct. I am pleased to report that my laudatory letter to the Edmonton Sun concerning your article was published on Dec. 17, 1998.

To a person, we all wish you nothing but the best -- please take extra care and watch your health as well.

With the deepest respect,

Eugene Harasymiw, LL.B.
