This
monstrous "war crime" or "crime against humanity" has never been
acknowledged by the "powers-that-be" -- Soviet Union, Russian
Federation, Ukraine (the recipients); United States, Britain, France
(the perpetrators); and Germany (the host country). Amongst the
Demjanjuk Files at Lily, you will find an article about media censorship, point 6 of which reads:
DEMANUK.009 = 6 areas news media censors; 1993-09-24
http://www.willzuzak.ca/fc/demjanjuk/demanuk009.html6.
And finally, the news media never mention the forcible repatriation of
Cossack, Yugoslav, Ukrainian and other refugees by the Western Allies
to certain incarceration or death at the hands of the Bolsheviks at the
end of WWII. Nikolai Tolstoy in his book The Minister and the Massacres
accuses Harold McMillan and Toby Low of illegally facilitating this
repariation. During a legal suit in England by Toby Low for defamation
of character, Tolstoy meticulously documented the repatriation fiasco.
To my knowledge, the North American news media imposed a complete news
blackout, except for the final verdict which, unfortunately, went
against Count Tolstoy.
The
hypocritical concern of the media elites about "freedom of expression"
is best illustrated by the comment of Orest Slepokura to Rex Murphy's
rant on 03Jan2008:

Rex MurphyThe
way "our" free speech works here in Canada goes like this: Those with
low or little standing in popular opinion or the media might have their
right to free speech denied with little or no fanfare and protest from
the general run of opinion makers (i.e. Rex Murphy and other media
lions). Ah, but... should some favourite ox of theirs be suddenly gored
(in Mr. Murphy's case, one Mark Steyn and, by extension, the Macleans
magazine), they'll rend their garments in public and complain bitterly
about how those sundry misnamed "human rights" commissions are out to
gag EVEN those with far higher standing in popular opinion or media; as
though free speech was the exclusive property and sole preserve of
media elites. In fact, here in Canada -- which cynics among us
sometimes called "Banada" -- that's more or less what it is, or was
until now.
In my opinion, the real heros defending free speech are listed on our
CHRC
page: especially Wallace Klinck, who exhibits a true understanding of
the issues involved, as well as Bishop Fred Henry, Peter Worthington,
Barbara Kulaszka and others. On the negative side, the Canadian Jewish
Congress was at the forefront in suppressing free speech by attacking
Lubomyr Prytulak and his UKAR website. Dr. Prytulak has documented the
malfeasance of Mary Gusella, CHRC Chief Commissioner at that time.
