Re: “Ezra Levant: Mob rules in attack on Vancouver rioters,” June 21,
2011:
Camille Cacnio was filmed during the Vancouver riot outside a smashed
and looted boutique. She’d taken a designer handbag and told the
reporter this was because she had “liked” it. She seemed oddly
composed, considering all the mayhem; absent was any sense of
wrongdoing on her part. In this, she was like most others in the
streets: smug, clueless; feeling entitled. It was as if they were all
refugees from Superman’s Bizarro World, where logic is inverted and
surreal outcomes pass for normal. Some, no doubt, will still inhabit
their Bizarro World, even en route to jail.
