VON TICKED
Controversial film director Lars von Trier was -- no surprise
-- expelled
from the Cannes Film Festival after calling himself a Nazi with a
degree of
sympathy for Adolf Hitler. This is the same body that invited von
Trier’s
fellow film director and convicted child-molester Roman Polanksi to
serve as
their jury president in 1991. Again, no surprise. Marry greed with
hedonism,
nihilism, and political correctness, and you’re bound to end up sending
a mixed
message.
