SBU named the accused of Holodomor
Iosif Stalin is one of the main accused on the criminal case on
genocide of the Ukrainian people in 1932-1933. The Security Service of
Ukraine (SBU) passed this criminal case to the General Prosecutor’s
Office.
SBU chairman Valentyn Nalyvaychenko said this on the air of 5 Kanal.
Other high officials of the former USSR and Soviet Ukraine are also
involved in the case on Holodomor (the Great Famine).
Investigation of the criminal case on the fact of Holodomor was started
on beginning of May 2009. Since this time investigators have collected
three thousand and a half documents, found 857 burial places and
interviewed two thousand witnesses of Holodomor. They also determined
organizers and executors of the crime. Now the case is to be passed to
court.
