Government asks judge to stick with Demjanjuk ruling

CLEVELAND -- The government has asked a judge to stick with a decision denying convicted Nazi war criminal John Demjanjuk a chance to regain his U.S. citizenship, arguing that the retired autoworker is just trying to drag out the case.

[W.Z. "... the retired autoworker is just trying to drag out the case"? It is the OSI that maliciously tried to have Mr. Demjanjuk hanged and now hopes that he will die soon, so as to preclude examination of their corruption/criminality.

Note how Mr. Sheeran is now using the terminology "government" (which sounds official and respectable);
- Associated Press reporters had previously used the term "Department of Justice" (also official and respectable connotation);
- rather than the appropriate terminology "Office of Special Investigations -- the corrupt/criminal element within the Department of Justice of the United States government".]

Demjanjuk's appeal for reconsideration "rehashes old arguments" and "is nothing more than an effort to prolong this litigation by any means necessary," the government said in a filing Thursday night [12Jan2012] in U.S. District Court.

[W.Z. Note how Mr. Sheeran does not even refer to the contents of the "appeal for reconsideration" which is available at

Demjanjuk, 91, who lived for many years in Seven Hills in suburban Cleveland, was convicted by a German court on more than 28,000 counts of accessory to murder. The court found he had worked as a guard at the Sobibor death camp in Nazi-occupied Poland.

He claims the government failed to disclose evidence including a 1985 secret FBI report uncovered by The Associated Press. The document indicated the FBI believed a Nazi ID card purportedly showing that he served as a death camp guard was a Soviet-made fake.

Dennis Terez, Demjanjuk's attorney, said in an email Friday that he wouldn't comment on the government filing.

Last month, Judge Dan Aaron Polster ruled against the citizenship bid and said Demjanjuk had lied about his whereabouts during World War II.

In a response to the original defense citizenship filing, the government included a recent affidavit from retired FBI agent Thomas Martin. He said the March 4, 1985 report written by him was based on speculation about a Soviet forgery, not any investigation.

Demjanjuk has been in poor health for years and has been in and out of a German hospital since his conviction.

Demjanjuk cannot leave Germany because he has no passport after being stripped of his U.S. citizenship ahead of his deportation to Germany in 2009. He could have gotten a U.S. passport if the denaturalization ruling had been overturned.

The Ukrainian-born Demjanjuk was a Soviet Red Army soldier captured by the Germans in 1942.

The irony of it all is he is probably getting better care in a German nursing home than he would in a poorly regulated US nursing home.The germans, jews, americans have all brought shame upon themselves for scapegoating an old man.

LONG SUFFERING CHRIST!
I wonder who is going to play Demjanjuk in the movie?

- As indicated in the above articles, Judge Dan Polster -- of Jewish origin and heavily involved in Jewish affairs -- has ruled that the evidence of OSI corruption submitted by the Demjanjuk defence is irrelevant! Instead of examining the myriad instances of (Jewish controlled) OSI criminal behavior, Mr. Polster even takes a swipe at Mr. Demjanjuk by stating that his alibi is not credible (as if that is relevant). Could anyone have expected anything different?

Now WHO or WHAT group in the US government would be concerned about restoring Demjanjuk's citizenship yet AGAIN????

You really don't have to be a genius to figure this out.

hint...hate mongers who produce(d) massive anti-Ukrainian propaganda attacks at every opportunity e.g. google "The Ugly Face of Freedom" -- right at the outset of Ukraine's rebirth...Ukraine had just hatched and already the vultures were trying to kill it!
