- The 3 sobering articles from earlier issues of Ukrainian Week (courtesy of postings by Pavlo Ivanchenko to Infoukes/politics) expose the propensity of Ukrainian politicians to sell their souls on behalf of Russia (Losiev) or for personal financial gain (Prymost). Yaroslav Tynchenko questions the ability of Ukraine's Army to withstand a serious Russian invasion.

- The Panama Papers by the Obermayer Brothers provides a fascinating chronological account between the initial contact of "John Doe" and the release of some 1.6 TB of Email data from Mossack Fonesca on 03Apr2016 orchestrated by the ICIJ. Chapter 22 on Ukraine states: "This is a country that stood out in the data; we find more high-ranking  politicians from Ukraine, riddled with corruption and mismanagement, than virtually any other country." A link to the database is provided.

- Pages 48 to 52 of the 64-page pdf report by Mike Marran of the Estonian Information Board refers to "Russian armed forces in Ukraine".

- Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze criticizes the West's "fence-sitting" policy regarding Ukraine and warns of the dangers of mollifying Vladimir Putin's regime. (English, German and Ukrainian versions of the article are included.)
